We are Kathleen & Charlie, the husband and wife team behind Little Worm Studio. We started Little Worm over twenty years ago with an old kiln, a love for handcrafted art, and a big passion to live a creative life together. Fresh out of college with art degrees and no jobs in sight, we took a leap of faith, we made a batch of pastel ceramic coffee mugs and headed to our very first trade show. Fast forward twenty years, and here we are, still in love with making handcrafted ceramics.

Our inspiration comes straight from our own family, past and present. Today, we work out of my grandfather’s original sign painter studio, carrying on a tradition of creating by hand. We sketch all of our designs on paper first, choosing every font, color palette, pattern, and ceramic shape, then we hand make each ceramic piece. All of our designs are inspired by our own family traditions. Our birthday plates were inspired by my young daughters, our ring dishes grew from a family wedding, and our holiday sets came from our own Christmas Eve traditions. As our family evolves, our collection naturally grows right along with it.

Everything is designed, handcrafted, fired, and packaged by the two of us in our studio in small-town Pennsylvania. Thank you for letting our story be a small part of yours.
